There is only a few hours left of this year 2011 and I think is good to reflect and do a balance check at the end of a cycle to analyze how we manage the challenges that presented to us and be consciously aware of the learned lessons. Today, no doubt, I can tell you that if 2012 was like a roller coaster, 2011 was truly like one of those amusement park rides where you are put upside down at in the heights and release into the air.
For me it was definitely a year of strong emotions, physical and financial challenges from which I’m sure I came out strengthened. But also a period in which I discovered a new universe with Social Media that lead me to meet wonderful women who each day exceed expectations at a family and professional levels; some of them that I today call friends and have made me feel a bit more at home in this land that adopted me.
And after so much adding and subtracting, I close with a positive balance, celebrating life: the new one that arrived and the one that despite the odds is still with us. Those are two things I don’t take lightly or for granted. Each day, I recognize this privilege and with it everything else won or lost still gives me a positive balance. Cheers to that!
I am waiting for 2012 with open arms since the expectations are very good and starting today I know how many wonderful things are awaiting. I am conscious that there will be new challenges, problems and not-so-good things, but still I am ready to face whatever comes my way. I received very good news and have the perspective of developing a very important project for me and in general, many, many plans that have me like a little girl waiting for Three Kings Day, eager to open my gifts.
My wish is that tonight, when the clock hits midnight, you all can start a cycle full of good things and that in the next twelve months you dare to realize those things you’ve been postponing. And of course, that you and your families enjoy good health, peace and prosperity in this New Year.
